Project Description

This two storey dwelling in Co Waterford is a traditional house at the front elevation but slightly contemporary at the rear elevation. The reason for this is because the front elevation is facing north which the house will only be exposed to the morning light, but the rear elevation will be exposed to a lot of natural light for vast majority of the day. To take advantage of this we have design the dwelling traditional vertical windows at the front elevation but with large glazing areas at the rear elevation, which also accommodates a balcony taking advantage of the evening sun and indeed the wonderful views. The ground floor houses a large kitchen and dining room with a T.V. room just off them and a large utility room. All of these rooms are exposed to the natural light that this dwelling will be exposed to. It also houses two large bedrooms, and second living room and an office. On the first floor we have five large bedrooms, three of which have large ensuites and walk-in-wardrobes.
